We constantly update our customers with latest product developments, new application trends, and ensure everyone complies with the latest industry guidelines and legislations. Training is valuable resource as it should help you to not only ensuring safety, but also reduce costs by enabling you to select the most cost effective and safe fixing solution, specify and install it correctly.

We aim to be flexible in our approach and listen to our customers’ training requirements and wishes. We offer face to face training seminars at our head-office in Oxfordshire where participants can gain valuable hands-on practical experience. However if preferred, we conduct product and application trainings externally at your premises or project sites. These seminars are always tailored to the audience and are great knowledge building opportunities and a valuable source of information. fischer UK is also member of The CPD Certification Service and therefore we offer also various officially CPD accredited training seminars. Technology now allows us to offer everyone the same training from anywhere in the world, at a time to suit you. Mirka Valovicova

Head of Technical

Mirka is qualified civil engineer and works as Technical Manager of fischer UK. She has many years’ experience, is well recognised within the fixing industry and is regarded as a true expert in her field. Among her many duties, she is responsible also for training. She develops technical competence of fischer’s employees but also customers by sharingher knowledge and experience. Mirka takes a proactive role and represents fischer at CFA Technical Committee and conducts accredited tester trainings on behalf of CFA. She was also involved in drafting a valuable BS 8539 Code of Practice, which is an important document which improves safety within the fixing industry. Thanks to Mirka’s technical
excellence, she is involved with software development and provides support to not only international colleagues at our headquarters in Germany but also around the globe. With her trainings, you are really learning from the best.
