"Looking for innovations will take you to fischer" is the slogan of the fischer group of companies. However, our ongoing search for innovations is not just limited to products. It also covers technical procedures, organisational methods, organisation and business plans. Every year 14,41 patent applications are processed per 1,000 employees, which is proof in itself, of our innovative strength in our four business divisions - Fixing Systems, Automotive Systems, fischertechnik and process consulting. The average in German industry is 0.57. We are not just developing patents for the filing cabinet - almost 35 percent of our inventions are utilised within the market. Another top rating. When Roman Herzog was President of the Federal Republic of Germany, he once said "Innovative ability decides our destiny" - we couldn't have said it better ourselves. We shape our own future.
Since 1980 the fischer group of companies has been managed by the second generation of the fischer family, the founder's son Professor E.h., Senator E.h., Dipl.-Ing.(FH) Klaus Fischer. fischer is a classic family owned business - and we're proud of it! For us, it is our customers and their individual needs which are the measure of all things, not shareholder value or the quarterly report. Of course, we are not totally isolated, we also need to move with the times and we do so with due care and diligence because our strategies and actions are aimed at long term goals. When they are called for, shorter decision-making routes help us move at speed. "The group is characterised by the Fischer family and is managed preferably by an entrepreneurial of that family", says our mission statement. And considering the benefits this offers, we see no reason to do things differently.
